There’s a load of great tech news happening out there every day, and, unfortunately, we just can’t cover it all. Here are a few of the other noteworthy things we saw today on our never-ending journey through the wild, wild Web.

  • whirled interactive flexed its video slicing skills with this insane video mashing up every violent act, and there were tons, from all of the 2010 Super Bowl ads. [From: BoingBoing]
  • On a less gruesome note, but ComputerWorld gathered the top 10 techie Super Bowl ads of all time, including Apple’s iconic ‘1984′ ad and the absurd Intel ‘Play That Funky Music’ dance party from ‘97. [From: Computer World]
  • The Internet can be a pretty lonely place during the deep, dark winter, but fortunately Neil Gaiman, Google, Wil Wheaton, Jason Kottke, Cory Doctorow and many more Net celebs come together to express their love for the Web and the best comic, xkcd, in a meta-song about The Discovery Channel.
